You’ve already
tried a lot.
And it still sits in your body? Then maybe no more words are needed.
Breathwork needs no words.
You understand your patterns. You know where they come from. And still: it sits in the body. The tension. The tightness. The feeling of not being fully with yourself.
Embodied Rebirthing Breathwork, in short connected breathing, is an active breathing practice based on the work of Leonard Orr. You breathe in a continuous flow, with no pause between inhale and exhale. You lie down, music carries you, and your body begins to speak: not with words, but with sensations.
Why the body is key
A nervous system in constant alarm cannot rest. The breath is one of the few access points you can use consciously. This is exactly where breathwork comes in.
Getting into motion
Connected breathing sets energy and stored tension in motion.
Letting go
Deep relaxation follows. The body is allowed to switch, from alarm to calm.
Finding it again
You learn to notice this shift and to find it again in everyday life.
It’s not about always being calm.
There is a range in which you stay present and can deal with what is happening. Breathwork doesn’t try to push you as far beyond these limits as possible. We practise noticing what happens in your body, when something becomes intense and what you need in that moment.
What changes
- More drive. More clarity. The feeling of finally being in motion again.
- Trust in their own decisions.
- A lightness they hadn’t felt for a long time.
- And sometimes, the deepest thing: the feeling of liking themselves again.
Your nervous system sets the pace.
Every person brings their own story. That is why I orient myself to you, not to a concept. I am with you the whole time, attentive to what your body needs and sensitive to what would be too much right now.
Good to know
Do I have to be spiritual?
No. You don’t have to believe in anything. Many people first experience breathwork in a purely physical way: breath, nervous system, sensations. If you like a spiritual approach, you will find it. If not, you don’t need it.
What does breathwork have to do with the nervous system?
Your nervous system controls whether your body is set to alarm or to calm. The breath is one of the few access points you can use consciously. In a session I accompany you in noticing tension, setting it in motion and letting it go.
What is connected breathing (Embodied Rebirthing Breathwork)?
Embodied Rebirthing Breathwork is an active breathing practice based on the work of Leonard Orr. Through a continuous, connected flow of breath, with no pause between inhale and exhale, the nervous system is brought into a state of deep relaxation. In this state, stored tension, emotions and patterns held in the body can come to the surface and release. The method does not work through the mind, but directly through the body.
What happens in a session, and how does it work in practice?
At the start we talk briefly: where you are right now, what is on your mind, whether there are physical particularities I should know about. Then you lie down, music accompanies the session and I guide you through the flow of breath. I am with you the whole time, attentive and present. After the session we take time for integration. A session lasts about 90 minutes.
Who is breathwork suitable for?
For people who sense that something is still waiting. Who feel stuck, who are looking for more clarity, who notice that thinking alone doesn’t get them further. Breathwork suits people who already have experience with inner work as well as complete beginners: you need no prior knowledge, only the willingness to engage with your body.
Are there people for whom breathwork is not suitable?
Yes. Breathwork is not suitable with certain heart conditions, epilepsy, active psychosis, severe dissociation or during pregnancy. If you are unsure whether breathwork is right for you, we will talk it through in the free intro call. Breathwork is a self-experience practice and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
How do I prepare for a session?
Come rested and on an empty stomach: at least two hours without a heavy meal. Wear comfortable clothing. Take time for yourself after the session and don’t plan anything stressful straight afterwards. A blanket and a cushion are helpful for online sessions.
What should I pay attention to after a session?
Drink plenty of water. Go outside, move, write down what you experienced. Give yourself space: breathwork can continue to resonate for days. If possible, avoid intense social situations straight after a session.
What is the difference between an individual and a group session?
In an individual session my full attention is on you. We can go deeper, work more individually and tune the session to exactly what you need right now. In a group session a shared field arises: many people experience a special depth in the group through the collective energy. Both formats have their own value.
Does breathwork work as well online as in person?
Yes. Breathwork works just as deeply online. The only difference is that in person I can also work with sound and direct physical presence. Many people even experience more relaxation online, because they are in their own familiar space.
Which languages do you work in?
In German, English and Spanish.
How do I book a session?
Write to me via the contact form or directly by email. We begin with a free 15-minute conversation, so you can feel whether this space is right for you.
